2. Your order and our contract
- Products shown on the site are not a binding offer; they invite you to place an order.
- When you place an order, you offer to buy the products in your cart. The email you get right after ordering only confirms that we have received your order.
- The contract is formed when we ship your order and send you the shipping confirmation.
- Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a price or description on the site is wrong, or we suspect fraud. If we do, we refund everything you paid.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or order with the permission of a parent or guardian.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in euros. For delivery within the EU they include VAT.
- Orders shipped outside the EU are charged without EU VAT. Import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are paid by the recipient.
- Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is taken when you place your order, using one of the methods offered at checkout. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.
4. Made to order
- Most products are printed after you order them, just for you.
- Product images are mockups. Colours, print size and print placement can differ slightly from what you see on screen and from one item to the next. Small variations like these are normal for printed products and are not a defect.
5. Delivery
- Production and delivery times on our Shipping page are estimates, not guaranteed dates.
- Please check your shipping address. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or incomplete, sending it again is at your cost.
- An order may arrive in more than one parcel.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. How it works, and the withdrawal form, are on our Returns & withdrawal page.
7. Damaged or faulty items
You have the legal guarantee rights of the law that applies to you. If an item arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong, please contact us as described on our Returns & withdrawal page.
8. Liability
- Our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost data or lost time.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier or supplier disruptions, strikes, outages or natural events.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent, gross negligence or fraud, under product liability law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Designs and content
All designs, images and texts on based.shop belong to us or our licensors. Buying a product does not give you the right to copy or use its design.
10. Customer accounts
Keep your login details safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the shop.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time. The version that was online when you placed an order applies to that order.
12. Law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of [Country]. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and can bring claims in its courts.
